Announcements
Greet new members, and announce departures, bans and boosts.
Koya can post a message when a member joins, leaves, gets banned or boosts the server. Each event has its own message, channel and image.
Open it from the dashboard: Messaging › Announcements.
Events

Channel
Section titled “Channel”Pick the channel where the message is posted. For the join and ban messages, Send the message in user DMs sends it to the member in private instead.
Message
Section titled “Message”The message is a full message: text, embeds and buttons. Besides the user and server variables ({user.mention}, {user.username}, {server.name}…), it accepts:

Image adds a generated card to the message, with the member’s avatar and your own text. Position in the message decides where it goes:
- Automatic: in the embed if there is one, otherwise below the message.
- In an embed: always in an embed, created if there is none.
- Attachment: always below the message, outside the embed.
Advanced image customization is a Premium feature. Settings marked with a diamond are free to try, saving them needs Premium.
